
HBO Max made yet another cut to their DC movie list, with the Zatanna film that JJ Abrams he had been assigned to direct. Promising young woman writer / director Emerald Fennell was supposed to write the photo, but HBO apparently quietly withdrew from the project.
In a recent report by The Hollywood Reporter, the future of DC was speculated and the article included the following:
“The mega-producer had some setbacks when some of his DC shows – based in the supernatural corners of DC and featuring characters like Constantine and Zatanna – were scrapped from WBD’s HBO Max streaming service.”
He kept saying it Constantine And Zatanna now they are bought on other streamers. So there may still be a chance to see an adaptation. The character is described by DC as “Intelligent, self-confident, self-confident and able to manipulate reality itself with her vast magical abilities, Zatanna balances her time as a skilled theatrical illusionist by battling the dark arts alongside some of the most great superheroes of the world. “
