James Gunn he had previously revealed that he was developing two new DC projects for Warner Bros. and is now reported to be in talks with the studio to carry out one of these mysterious film projects.
THR reports that Gunn is the producer Pietro Safran (Shazam!) are in talks with Warner for a detective film. But they keep saying it could be more projects, which makes sense since Gunn has already developed more projects.
Warner has not commented on the matter, but the report states that “a carving of the comic book company’s intellectual assets is occurring. “DC is definitely at stake”, how much the game can depend on your perspective from inside or outside the studio. “
There are no details on what these projects might be, but they might include another one Suicide squad movies or spin-offs involving characters like Harley Quinn. This is something that has definitely been discussed. The report also points out that “the studio’s eyes are very much on Superman.” So it might also be an option for Gunn.
