The saga of Halloween horror movies ended with the arrival in theaters of its latest episode, “End of Halloween”. However, the character of Michael Myers will continue to haunt the imagination of fans of the franchise, even if it is finished, and that is, there is a question that many keep thinking about, Why did Michael Myers become a bloodthirsty killer?

Due to the fact that there are so many Halloween timelines, where there have been some justifications for Myers’ bloodlust as in “Halloween 6” and Rob zombie “Halloween” reboot, this bizarre narrative gives him l opportunity to speculate with fans of the saga on the reasons that push Michael Myers to become the embodiment of evil.

“Halloween Kills” may have the answer to Michael Myers’ bloodlust

from the portal bloody disgusting A theory came from Mike Holtz which now delves into the 2021 film “Halloween Kills”, this suggests that Michael Myers was desperate for his parentsand that rage and rage at not finding them and feeling their warmth again makes the character lose his head and tries to kill everyone around him.

Now let’s look for some context. In the first scene of John Carpenter’s original film, Michael Myers as a child stabs his sister to death. This meant that the boy was immediately taken to a psychiatric center to remain there for life. So from this Myers parents moved to another house and started a new life.

Now, in “Halloween Kills” it is clear that the path Myers follows is always what it is go back to his parents’ house. That’s why on Halloween 2018 he gets completely mad and violently kills Dr. Sartain, because he has diverted him from his course. This is most clearly seen in the aforementioned Halloween Kills, in which Myers goes straight home to look for his parents.

The same theory also speculates that Laurie Strode’s daughter, Karen Nelson, is suffering from Myers’ trauma. Claiming that in the film the girl imitates the same position that the killer is in whenever he is focused on the place. In the film, Karen gets lost because she needs her father’s love, which takes her to the Myers’ house.

Of course, all of this may be a coincidence, but it’s actually a theory that can be quite logical. Although, on the other hand, if this were to be justified within the same saga, it would probably disappoint more than one of its fans, perhaps for being too sentimental, and completely moving away from the violent essence of the franchise.
