James Cameron has already shot the first act of AVATAR 4

“We completed most of the first act of Avatar 4 and there were logistical reasons why we had to do it. We designed most of the entire movie for “Avatar 4”, but we didn’t actually shoot it all, just the first act. “

Landau went on to discuss the future of the franchise and how the films will explore other biomes and environments on the vast planet of Pandora:

“We couldn’t have offered what people saw today, five years ago, eight years ago, nine years ago. We needed time to bring it to the level we can offer people today … With each sequel, we will introduce audiences to new cultures and new biomes. We do not leave behind the cultures we have encountered ”.
