Movie titles that ruined the biggest surprise in history – Disney (courtesy)
If you’re also one of those people who hate when someone tells them what’s going to happen in a movie, or, conversely, they need to know absolutely everything about it, you’ve been warned. Because the titles of these films ruined the twistand they’ve ruined the biggest surprise their stories have hidden, even if in some cases it’s just a minor inconvenience.
The murder of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford
It’s hard to get into this western drama with Brad Pitt and Casey Affleck and not think about it its title has already ruined your ending’The murder of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford’. However, the reality is that what’s really interesting about this film is seeing how the climax of the plot is reached, about the life of one of the most important figures of the old west. Available on HBO Max.
Save Private Ryan
It is true that much of Steven Spielberg’s masterpiece does exactly what it says in the title ‘Save Private Ryan’, and that’s exactly what the protagonists, Tom Hanks, Vin Diesel, Jaremy Davies, among many others get. But as in the previous one, the exciting thing about this film is seeing how they manage to save Matt Damon’s character, not just that point. Available on Amazon Prime Video.
Kill Bill
Goal, to kill Bill, this is the ultimate goal of Uma Thurman’s Girlfriend character. And although Quentin Tarantino spoils “Kill Bill” in the title, it is almost the last thing that matters in the film, since it is much more fun to see how the protagonist prepares in the martial arts, her iconic yellow dress and, of course, the bloody action scenes, that’s the end. Available on Amazon Prime Video.
12 years a slave
While the title doesn’t really seem to reveal the twist, it does give you an idea of what you’re about to see. ’12 Years a Slave ‘is a drama about Solomon Northup, who was mistakenly kidnapped and sold as a slave to an evil person. His rich life led him to spend many years away from his family and became a key player in the abolition of slavery in the United States. Available on Star +.
The survivor
In a film about the war in Afghanistan, where a team of US special forces soldiers are on a mission to capture a Taliban leader. All good so far, but you remember that this story is called “The Survivor” and you realize that something bad can happen so that only one individual can get out of that situation alive. Available on HBO Max.
Finding Nemo
And finally, one of Disney’s most memorable animated adventures, but not because the title reveals what’s going on in the whole story, it makes it from more boring to less memorable. As the title says, “Finding Nemo” is about the father of a small clownfish who has been caught by a diver and will cross the ocean to bring his son back home.
