World Cup in Qatar: Didier Deschamps takes over Cyril Hanouna after a blunder: “prepare your subjects!” (VIDEO)

This Monday, October 10, 2022, on the set of TPMP at C8, Cyril Hanouna and his columnists group sparked the World Cup discussion in Qatar. But after a mistake, Didier Deschamps left a message for Cyril Hanouna to fix it!

At Touche pas à mon poste at C8 today, Cyril Hanouna offered his columnists to return to the great controversy sparked by the next World Football Cup in Qatar.

Air-conditioned stadiums, shuttle jets to reach the stadiums… Many French and elected officials point to the ecological disaster this sporting event represents. Some major cities in France will not broadcast matches on the giant screen and will not offer a “fan zone”.

The World Cup, held in Qatar from 20 November to 18 December, also divides football fans as the competition will be an ecological disaster and thousands of workers lost their lives on construction sites linked to the event.

As the controversy escalated as the first games approached, TF1 from France’s broadcasters decided to remove the phrase “Qatar” from their advertising spots. It’s a choice that has been widely commented on on the set. “These boycott calls are too complex for TF1 and M6,” Cyril Hanouna later notes.

Cyril Hanouna, who is hilarious after the commercial break, explains that he received a voicemail from his friend, the “coach of the France team.” Very attentive Didier Deschamps noticed a mistake and did not hesitate to inform his friend with a humorous message: “Prepare your subjects… Only TF1 and BeIN Sports broadcast the World Cup. M6 is done,” he adds. “Rebuild your files.” A small spade that greatly amused columnists and the TPMP public.

According to an Odoxa poll for Winamax and RTL released on Saturday, October 8, nearly half (46%) of French people plan to watch the competition’s matches. A much lower figure (66%) than before the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
