On December 2, 1985, “Back to the Future”, the first film in Robert Zemeckis’ successful trilogy, was released in theaters. Now, 37 years later, during New York Comic Con held this Saturday, October 8, Michael J. Fox (Marty McFly) and Christopher Lloyd (Dr. Emmett Brown) starred in an emotional reunion that received one of the biggest ovations in the history of this convention.

Both actors were greeted with cheers and cheers from the hundreds of fans in attendance. The two merged in an embrace and continued to talk about their friendship, their film career and the success of “Back to the Future”. Lloyd discussed how he met Fox, who was not initially cast to play Marty. The meeting ended with some advice from the actors to the audience. They both chose movie quotes for their farewell. Fox opted for his favorite movie, ‘Red Telephone? Let’s fly to Moscow ‘: “You can’t fight here, this is the war room!”. For his part, Lloyd raised the audience from his chairs by quoting one of his mythical phrases from the saga: “Once it was said in a film: the future is what you make of it.”.
