
Paramount + has released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming supernatural series herd of wolveswho comes from writer and executive producer Jeff Davis (Teenage wolf) and stars Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer). It looks good enough! It looks better than that MTV Teen Wolf series.
The show is based on Edo Van Belkom’s book series, herd of wolves the story “follows a teenage boy and girl whose lives change forever when a California fire awakens a terrifying supernatural creature,” according to the official logline. Wounded in the chaos of his attack, the boys are inexplicably drawn to each other and two others who were adopted sixteen years earlier by a park ranger after another mysterious fire. As the full moon rises, all four boys unite to unravel the secret that connects them: the bite and blood of a werewolf.
Sarah Michelle Gellar plays arson investigator Kristin Ramsey, described as “a highly regarded expert in her field and no stranger to personal loss, brought in by the authorities to catch the teenage arsonist who started a massive fire that may also have led to the awakening of a supernatural predator terrorizing Los Angeles.
The film is also the protagonist Rodrigo Santoro (Lost) as Garrett Briggs, “a Los Angeles park ranger dedicated to environmental protection and the adoptive father of extraordinary teenagers.
