It’s been months since the release in North American cinemas of ‘Till Death’, a film that aroused interest beyond the plot, for playing the actress Megan Fox who, at that time, was in the eyes of the communication media for her courtship and some issues related to her children and the controversial way of dressing and behaving she had publicly adopted.
However, a few months had to pass before the region of Mexico and Latin America could enjoy its first under the name of ‘until you die’.
‘Till Death’ is a suspense thriller in which Fox plays Emma, an unconventional woman in a relationship who may be identified by some people and which triggers a case of harassment and even infidelity. ‘Until you die’, is a bloody and suspenseful film that joins the wave of films ideal for the Halloween season and which, fortunately, is available in theaters in Mexico.
Megan Fox who was part of a vampire couple with Sydney Sweeney in ‘Nocturnal teeth‘, plays Emma in this thriller, a woman who has spent ten years of her life married to Mark, the character played by the actor Eoin Mackena rather womanizer lawyer who is not content with betraying his partner, but is a psychological manipulator who also defended her in a case of harassment brought to court.
Emma seems a little tired of the routine but not quite of her marriage, unexpectedly begins an extramarital affair with Tom (Aml Ameen), colleague of her husband Mark. It might seem like a story of infidelity at first, but suddenly the plot turns extremely dark as Mark prepares a romantic and special celebration to celebrate 10 years of marriage to his wife.
At least it seemed like a celebration of love, she suddenly wakes up handcuffed to him, while he surprises her by shooting himself in the head. Now Emma has a great challenge, to save herself in the middle of nowhere, in a snowy place, with no spare clothes and with her bleeding change of her and dragging her husband’s body. She desperately turns to Bobby (Callan Mulvey), her past stalker who is Jimmy’s (Jack Roth) brother.
Making a psychological thriller was a challenge won by respecting Megan Fox
“Till Death” features scenes not suitable for all audiences and while not Megan Fox’s best portrayal, it is an essential popcorn film in the Halloween season with tapes available in theaters in Mexico, where ‘Till Death’ is in theaters in chains like CineDot, Cinepolis and Cinemex. Remember that you should first check the availability of timetables in your city.
Prior to its US premiere, Megan Fox confessed that “Until You Die” is a film that “is about liberation from a prison that has been self-imposed or imposed by others and decides it won’t work for you.” as explained to Gussi, through its distribution for Mexico. In addition, the actress expected that the audience could see parts of themselves in the film and also have fun.
I hope audiences see parts of themselves in the film and enjoy it. I hope you can escape the things that bother or haunt you, “Fox said.
He also revealed that he had never been to a psychological thriller of this magnitude, so she had to deal with many elements she had never had the opportunity to play on the big screen before and learned to have a lot of respect for her character as Emma.
