Universal Pictures has released the first trailer for Nintendo and the upcoming Illumination movie Super Mario Bros. There’s a lot of stupidity in the trailer, but it feels like a fun family movie that kids will have a blast watching.
Many fans have been very curious about this movie, and after this trailer is out now, I’m curious to see what the fans think! There has been a lot of talk in the past about Mario’s voice with Chris Pratt saying, it’s “unlike anything you’ve heard”. Well, I don’t know about you, but to me it sounds a lot like Chris Pratt. It definitely doesn’t sound like Mario! It will be fun to see how outraged the fans are by the rumor. Hey, the indignation worked for Sonic and he redesigned the character. I just hope the movie tells a good story!
The film is also the protagonist Anya Taylor-Joy like Princess Peach, Charlie day like Luigi, Black Jack like Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key like toad, Seth Rogen like Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen like Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson like Kamek, e Sebastiano Maniscalco like Spike.
It was directed by Aaron Horvath And Michele Jelenic (Teen Titans Go !, Teen Titans Go! At Cinema) from a screenplay by Matteo Fogel (The LEGO Movie 2: The second part, Minions: The Rise of Gru).
The film is produced by the founder and CEO of Illumination Chris Meledandri and from Shigeru Miyamoto for Nintendo.
The film will be released on April 7, 2023.
