Mindhunter star Holt McCallany took on a role in the wrestling legacy film The iron claw. There will also be drama Zac Efron (17 again, The biggest beer race ever), Harris Dickinson (The king’s man, Where the Crawdads sing), And Jeremy Allen White (Shameless, The bear).
Sean Durkin (Martha Marcy May Marlene) is writing and directing the film, which follows “the true story of the Von Erichs, the film follows the rise and fall of the family dynasty of wrestlers that had a huge impact on sport from the 1960s to the present day”. McCallany will play Fritz Von Erich, the patriarch of the famous Von Erich wrestling family.
This is such a great cast. I can’t wait to see this film, simply because of the talent involved. Stay tuned for the film’s release date.
