Finn Jones may be one of the least interesting and uninspired casting choices for Marvel. He played Danny Rand, aka Iron Fist, on Marvel Netflix shows, and many fans didn’t like the role. I mean, the best part of the Iron fist shows it was Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing! I would love to see her return to the MCU!
As for Jones, he is still hoping to be able to reprise the role of Iron Fist again. In particular he would like to return to a Heroes for hire series. During a recent interview with Comicbook the actor said:
“I would love to continue playing that character. I think there is a lot of room for growth. Personally, where I’d like to see the character reintroduced would be something like a Heroes for Hire TV series. I think it would be the most dynamic and fun way to reintroduce those characters. “
Heroes for hire surely it would be fun! However, I’m pretty sure that if Marvel Studios brings back Iron Fist, they’ll rephrase the character. I might be wrong! But it seems so many fans didn’t like Jones as Iron Fist. It would be nice to see Mike Colter comes back as Luke Cage, though! Speaking of working with Colter, Jone said:
“I loved working with Mike and loved the on-screen chemistry between Danny and Luke. I think it’s a really cool creative place where the show can be welcomed. I would love to take that cloak back and continue to carry this character forward and make the best Iron Fist possible.
There are no details as to what Marvel is thinking about these characters, but if they decide to do one Heroes for hire series one day, what do you think of Jones playing Iron Fist again? Do you think Marvel will still play with these characters?
