like every month Amazon Prime video updates its catalog of series and films, below we present the previews of October 2022. This month we have the long-awaited “Argentina, 1985” nominated to represent Argentina at the Oscars on the list, as well as a documentary about James Bond and “The Weight of Talent”.
What proposals can we expect for October 2022 on Amazon Prime?
Among the new releases for the Amazon Prime streaming platform we have ‘Argentina, 1985’, directed by Santiago Miter and starring Ricardo Darín, Peter Lanzani and Alejandra Flechner. It tells the true story of Julio Strassera and his legal team who fought, under constant threat, against Argentina’s bloodiest military dictatorship.
To this is added the documentary ‘Sound 007’which follows the story behind six decades of music from the classic James Bond film, to the production of one of Hollywood’s greatest franchises and behind the iconic theme song of the most famous agent of all time, 007.
On the other hand, in the field of humor, we have black comedy “Dirty envy” starring Carolina Cuervo, Ana María Orozco, Cecilia Navia and Yeimy Vargas, who play four great friends who end up telling the truth to each other in what was initially just a party dinner.
“Catherine, called Birdy”, is a new series starring Bella Ramsey and Andrew Scott. The story places us in medieval times and follows the adventures of Birdy, who tries at all costs to avoid her marriage. His imagination will be the ally of this character to achieve the long-awaited independence.
Continuing with the list, we have the movie ‘I’ll have fun’ directed by David Serrano and starring Raúl Arévalo, Karla Souza and Dani Rovira. The plot is set between the 80s and the present day, where two friends in love since childhood now have the opportunity to materialize their love in the present.
Science fiction, action and adventure come together “The periphery: connection to the future”. Inspired by the book of the same name written by William Gibson and starring Chloë Grace Moretz. She tells the story of Flynne Fisher, an intelligent and ambitious girl who feels doomed to have no future, but she soon discovers that what she hopes is yet to come.
Directed by Alejandra Márquez Abella, we have the film “The north on the void” where we are told the story of Don Reynaldo, a breeder and hunter who faces the insecurity that exists in northern Mexico. That said, his legacy is threatened, as is his relationship with his family.
