
Luca Gage (The white lotus, euphoria) joined the cast of the upcoming HBO Max DC series, Dead boy detective. The eight-episode series is based on the comic created by Neil Gaiman And Matt Wagner.
The description of the series reads: “It’s a new version of a ghost story that explores loss, grief and death through the lens of Edwin Payne (George Rexstrew) and Charles Rowland (Jayden Revri), two dead British teenagers and their very alive friend, Crystal Palace (Cassius Nelson). So, it’s very similar to a vintage detective series, only darker and with an acid. “
Gage will play the role of the Cat King, described as “a charming trickster and traveling feline spirit who takes a great interest in Edwin”.
The pilot of the series was written by Steve Yockey and is also an executive producer and co-showrunner along with Beth Schwartz. Jeremy Carver also executive producer along with Greg Berlanti, Sarah SchechterAnd Leigh London Redman by Berlanti Produzioni. Lee Toland Krieger he directed and executive produced the pilot.
