The first season of Prime Video Reach the series was pretty damn awesome and I was thrilled to see the story continue with its second season. Alan Ritchson he’s perfect as Jack Reacher and we’ve got some new casting and character details to share with you today!
Reacher comes as a writer and showrunner Nick Santoraand is based on the novels of Lee Child. The series follows Jack Reacher, a veteran military police investigator who has just entered civilian life and finds himself embroiled in some insane situations involving him beating people to death.
Serinda Swan (Coroner), Ferdinand Kingsley (Sandman) And Rory Cochrane (winning Time) are intended to star as the protagonists of the series opposite Domenico Lombardozzi (Magnum PI), with Luca Bilyk (DeGrassi: the next generation), Dean McKenzie (Shooter), Edsson Morales (Black summer), André Collantes (Two-sentence horror stories), Shannon Kook Chun (The 100), Ty Victor Olsson (Supernatural), Josh Blacker (See), And To Sapienza (Coroner).
As previously announced, Maria Sten will return for season 2 as Frances Neagley and Shaun Sipos will play David O’Donnell.
The second season is based on the eleventh book in Lee Child’s best-selling series, Bad luck and trouble, begins “when members of Reacher’s old military unit begin to die. Reacher has only one thing in mind: revenge.
Swan was cast in the role of Karla Dixon. “Along with O’Donnell, Dixon served with Reacher in the Army Special Investigators Unit. She is an extremely intelligent private investigator who has no problem holding out in a fight against men much older than her.
Kingsley will play AM “He’s what Homeland Security calls a ‘ghost’; he operates under various pseudonyms and can pass for any nationality. Money is his only motivation and he will work for the highest bidder. “
Cochrane will play Shane Langston. “He’s a former NYPD detective with a questionable track record who is now head of security for a private defense contractor.”
Lombardozzi is Guy Russo. “He is a tough NYPD detective investigating a case involving many of Reacher’s former army cohorts.”
Olsson was cast for the role of Saropian. “A brutal professional hitman tasked with following the members of Reacher’s elite old military squad.”
Blacker will play Hortense Fields. “The Army Lieutenant Colonel who oversees Reacher’s Elite’s 110th Special Investigation Unit.”
Sapienza was cast for the role of Marsh. “He’s a terrific NYPD lieutenant.”
Rounding out Reacher’s former Special Investigator Task Force team there are Luca Bilyk like Calvin Franz, Dean McKenzie like Stan Lowery, Edsson Morales like Manuel Orozco, André Collantes like Jorge Sanchez, and Shannon Kook Chun like Tony Swan.
