Netflix announced a few months ago an open casting for the character of Sahar, thus giving aspiring actresses the opportunity to take the plunge.

Also added this season Jack Barton (“Letter to the King”), who will play David, Nick’s older brotherwho tends to be quite mean to his brother and is quite disrespectful of his relationship with Charlie. Nima Taleghani (“The Last Great Robbery”) will be Mr. Farouk, a teacher at the school of Charlie, Nick, Tao (William Gao) and Isaac (Tobie Donovan) and who has a much-loved storyline in the comics. And Bradley Riches, who already appeared in Season 1 as an unnamed student, is now baptized as James McEwan and will carry more weight. The character is not part of the comics.

To celebrate the start of filming of the second season, Netflix has shared a first video with the reading of the scripts, and in the video we have a surprise. The cast welcomes us to the set with the characteristic “Hi!” of the series and the cartoons, but Kit Connor says at the end of the video “Bonjour”. Fans of Alice Oseman’s work will already know this the third volume, the one that should now be adapted, takes place during an excursion by the students of Truham and Higgs to Paris. So it looks like we have to pack.
