Werner Herzog has made a new documentary film entitled Theater of thought, and explore the human brain. The human brain is so complex in so many ways, there is so much we still don’t understand about it and its power. I love looking at Herzog’s documents and this one looks absolutely fascinating.
Here is the synopsis:
Werner Herzog sets his sights on another mysterious landscape – the human brain – for clues as to why a piece of tissue can produce deep thoughts and feelings considering the philosophical, ethical and social implications of rapidly advancing neural technology. Werner Herzog turned 80 this year. He has traveled to all continents including Antarctica. In recent films, he has gone back in time to study ancient paintings, stare at volcanoes and roll his eyes to contemplate meteorites. He now he ventures into the inner landscape of our brain “.
Herzog interviews various scientists and researchers who are studying the human brain and / or developing ways to control it using technology. There is no release date for the film yet, but he will be analyzing some incredibly interesting information.
