This week we have several previews on Netflix for you to enjoy over the weekend. Between animated series and live action, documentaries and films, many of which are original productions of the platform. We highly recommend this selection of highlights, so you can plan a marathon or see them quietly one by one, here we list each of them.

Previews on Netflix from 19 to 25 September 2022

For all anime fans comes “Fullmetal Alchemist: The Final Alchemy”. This legendary anime, based on the manga of Hiromu Arakawaand one of the most popular and loved by fans, continues to expand through this latest adaptation to live action, his second and final film in this format, a sequel that gives continuity to the original story and that serves as a closing, encompassing the latest arc. of the anime.

Now fans of Pokemon have another reason to celebrate this week, as the platform also receives another installment in the pocket monster saga: “Pokémon: The Arceus Chronicles”, a 20-minute four-episode miniseries that will bring Ash Ketchum and his friends to Sinnoh, where he must help a powerful Pokémon to face a terrible danger. The series is based on the special Pokémon Voyages from the Pokémon Legends: Arceus game.

In the field of comedy we have the cabaret show ‘Patton Oswalt: We All Scream’, an American comedian known for being the voice of Remy in ‘Ratatouille’, as well as Max in ‘The Secret Life of Pets 2’. This time, the actor and screenwriter himself, makes his directorial debut with his fourth special for Netflix, talking about aging and its consequences, the latest whim of the Baby Boomer, what would become of him if he followed the list that he wrote while in prison and much more.

In addition to these, the cooking reality show started in Japan in 1993 and one of the most recognized in the world arrives in Mexico. This is ‘Iron Chef Mexico’, where we will see three of Mexico’s best chefs take on different talents in gastronomy, all to obtain the coveted mythical katana and receive the title of Legendary Chef.

The eighth and final season of the hilarious “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” comedy series will also premiere this month on the platform. Hero Andy Samberg, the series will continue to focus on a group of police officers from a fictional district of the NYPD. After running for eight uninterrupted years, the series has been nominated for an Emmy nine times, winning the award twice, as well as two Golden Globes for Best Comedy or Musical for Television and Best Actor for Samberg.

On the other hand we also have ‘Lou’, a mystery thriller about a young woman who is kidnapped during a storm. That said, her mother joins forces with her neighbor to begin the search for the kidnapper. During this journey her limits will be tested and the dark secrets of her past will be revealed.
