Vertical Entertainment has released a trailer for an upcoming indie action thriller titled Sanction evil. The film centers on a sergeant major who, after being dishonorably discharged from the army, “finds his way back into society through a charismatic politician with a covert military operation to eliminate a clandestine criminal entity on US soil.”
The film was directed by Ante Novakovic and stars Tobia Truvillion, Zach McGowan, Taryn Manning, Ebony Joan, Chris Tardio, Carrie Kim, Kyle Sharp, Tasha Lawrence, Kresh NovakovicAnd Giacomo Biberi.
Here is the complete synopsis:
Personal Sergeant Reginald Barnes (Truvillion), a decorated war hero, is dishonorably discharged after four duty shifts when a soldier under his command becomes a thief. Deprived of the right to vote for the same government he served with honor, Barnes is now alone in rebuilding his life. But he finds his way back into society after being recruited by the charismatic and ambitious politician Dakota Ambrose (McGowan) and his life has a new purpose. As the mission unfolds, Barnes and Ambrose walk a fine line between covert military operations on civilian soil and unauthorized punishment of a clandestine criminal element, all while being tracked down by FBI Special Agent Kensington (Manning).
This movie looks like a pretty generic action movie, but maybe some of you will find it more interesting than me. Sanction evil will be released in theaters and on VOD starting from 7 October 2022.
