New TV ad for HALLOWEEN ENDS – will Laurie Strode die in this movie?

Here’s another TV spot for the director to watch David Gordon Green’S Halloween ends. The commercial includes even more new footage and features Jamie Lee Curtis’Laurie Strode shares a theory with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) on the killing of Michael Myers once and for all. He says, “Maybe the only way he can die is if I die too.”

Is this preparing the audience for Laurie Strode’s death? If so, it wouldn’t be the first time Curtis’s character dies in a Halloween movie. When Jamie Lee Curtis decided not to be there Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, they killed Laurie in a car accident before the events in that film. Then inside Halloween: Resurrectionshe died after Michael stabbed her and threw her off the roof.

Will he die again? Halloween ends? I hope not! He would just have to put some explosives in his pants and blow him up in an explosive blaze of Michael Bay glory. Or cut off his head and then blow him up. This would guarantee him not to return. In any case, Strode needs to live! He shouldn’t have to die for Michael to die.

Four years after the events of last year Halloween kills, Laurie lives with her niece Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoirs. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie, after allowing Michael’s specter to determine and guide her reality for decades, has decided to break free from fear and anger and embrace life. But as a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell; The tough guys, virgin river), accused of killing a boy she babysat, triggers a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally face the evil she can’t control, once and for all.

Halloween ends will be released in theaters on October 14, 2022.
