Brandon Sklenar (The offer, Westworld) is the latest actor to join the Paramount + cast Yellowstone prequel series 1923which was developed by Taylor Sheridan.
Sklenar will play the role of Spencer Dutton, that of Jacob Dutton (Harrison Ford) nephew, and John Dutton Sr. (James Badge Dale) brother, who witnessed the horrors of World War I.
The show will focus on “the next two generations of the Dutton family as they struggle to survive historical drought, lawlessness and prohibition, and a cattle theft epidemic; they all fought under the cloud of Montana’s Great Depression, which preceded the nation by nearly a decade. The show will also touch the end of the First World War, which took place in 1918 “.
The rest of the cast includes Ellen Mirren, Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Amina NievesAnd Julia Schlaepfer.
1923 is currently in production in Montana and will debut on Paramount + in December 2022.
