The turn-based historical strategy game Humanity is getting its first expansion this fall. The new expansion is called Together we govern and is all about diplomacy and espionage brought to the forefront of the game with the Congress of Humanity, embassies, agents and a new affinity for diplomatic culture.
The Congress of Humanity allows players to vote on global doctrines and to act as an arbiter on international conflicts. Meanwhile, embassies are a new neighborhood that works on agreements between empires and allows you to use leverage currency to force other empires to take certain actions.
Agents are a new united family used to collect the aforementioned leverage currency and to “infiltrate, sabotage and misinform other empires”. The new Diplomatic Affinity allows for a more active role in world diplomacy through actions such as demilitarizing a territory for 10 turns or using non-Agent units to leverage currency.
Together we govern it will also bring 6 new cultures (Sumerian, Han Chinese, Bulgarian, Swiss, Scottish and Singaporean), 6 new wonders (Monument Valley, Pamukkale, Chocolate Hills, Eldgjá, Palace of Versailles and the headquarters of the Congress of humanity), new narrative events and new music.
You will be able to enjoy the expansion in the fall of 2022.
Also, a major free update will be released together Together we govern. This will add “Stealth mechanics, revamp independent peoples, allow third party battle reinforcements, and add new UI options and enhancements.” Are you excited about the expansion and update?
