A conversation between Giorgio Luca And Robin Williams recently made the rounds of “Robin Williams Interviews The Flanneled One”, a series launched on Audible in 2000.
During the conversation, Star Wars creator George Lucas caught up with Williams to talk about the backlash from fans over Jar Jar Binks in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. Lucas also talked about the stereotypes in the film along with C-3PO, Yoda, the Ewoks, Darth Maul, Watto and all the accents required for the characters.
Of course, during the interview, Williams made hilarious impressions of the characters in the franchise, including Binks and a Scottish Stormtrooper. One of the best parts of this interview is that Williams constantly makes George Lucas laugh, and hearing Lucas laugh seems like a rare thing! This is great!
