Universal Pictures has released a new TV commercial for the director David Gordon Green’S Halloween ends. This is presumably the last Halloween movie that will be made, but I can’t help but think that someone else will try to restart it or continue it somehow at some point. That’s exactly what Hollywood does. But it’s safe to say this will definitely be the last time Jamie Lee Curtis will play Laurie Strode.
The new TV commercial offers some new footage from the film that includes some new characters, who will find themselves brutally murdered by Michael Meyers. Hell, you can even watch him kill one of them in this trailer! You can check it out below!
Here is the complete synopsis of the film:
After 45 years, the most acclaimed and revered horror franchise in film history reaches its epic and terrifying conclusion when Laurie Strode takes on the evil incarnation, Michael Myers, for the last time in a showdown unlike any other film on the screen first. Only one of them will survive.
Icon Jamie Lee Curtis returns for the last time as Laurie Strode, the first “last girl” in horror and the role that launched Curtis’ career. Curtis played Laurie for more than four decades, one of the longest actor-character pairings in film history. When the franchise was relaunched in 2018, Halloween broke box office records to become the highest-grossing chapter of the franchise and set a new record for the biggest opening weekend for a female-starring horror film.
Four years after the events of last year Halloween kills, Laurie lives with her niece Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoirs. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie, after allowing Michael’s specter to determine and guide her reality for decades, has decided to break free from fear and anger and embrace life. But as a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell; The tough guys, virgin river), accused of killing a boy she babysat, triggers a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally face the evil she can’t control, once and for all.
Halloween ends co-stars returning to the cast Andi Matichak, Will Patton as officer Frank Hawkins, Kyle Richards such as Lindsey Wallace and Giacomo Giuda Courtney like La Forma. The film will be released in theaters on October 14, 2022. For the most recently shared information on the film, click here.
