Some new details have emerged about the upcoming transition from the Disneyland attraction formerly known as Splash Mountain, which will henceforth be known as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The ride will allow fans to follow Tiana as she ventures into the bayou to find animal friends. She is throwing a party for the people of New Orleans, but she is missing a special ingredient.
Some original cast members will provide their voices to the attraction, including Anika Noni Rose (Tiana), Bruno Campos (Naveen), Michael Leon Wooley (Luigi), and Jennifer Lewis (Mama Odì).
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will have new characters, animations, lights and fog effects to turn it into a whole new experience. The attraction is bound to look especially beautiful at night. It’s a love letter to New Orleans and it was important to the Imagineers that it was authentic.
Anika Noni Rose took the stage to sing “Almost There” during the presentation of the D23 Expo.
