Fantastic costumes and concept art for INDIANA JONES 5

During Disney’s D23 Expo this weekend, Lucasfilm showed some of the fantastic costumes and concept art for the director James Mangold And Harrison Ford’S Indiana Jones 5! I was incredibly excited about his film, and thanks to this concept art, we have a little more understanding of what we can expect from the film. Judging by the pictures, it looks like this new story will be set in Thailand.

We also get a glimpse of the famous archaeologist looking for some kind of artifact, but I have no idea what it could be. It’s a great view, though! It looks like Jones will find himself on another wild adventure! We can also see the costume that Mad Mikkelsen will wear, which looks very familiar.

Producer Franco Marshall he previously advertised the next chapter of the archaeological adventure franchise saying, “It’s a great story, he’s a great character and I think you’ll be very happy with this movie. It’s everything I think everyone wants from an Indiana Jones movie.”

The film is reportedly set in the 1960s during the space race, which appears to have been confirmed by photos from the set. They emerged. Those photos show a large parade on duct tape with red, white and blue stage signs that read “Welcome back to Earth” and “Welcome back astronauts”.

The film also shot scenes at Bamburgh’s “haunted” castle, which has led to speculation that this film will include a Last crusade storyline that saw Indiana Jones fight a ghost while on vacation. You can read more about it here.

Steven Spielberg is producing the film and the cast also includes Antonio Bandera, Phoebe Waller-Ponte, Boyd HolbrookAnd Shaunette Renée Wilson.

Indiana Jones 5 will arrive on the big screen on June 30, 2023.
