Disney is bringing a The beauty and the Beast special anniversary for ABC this December to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the beloved musical. In the special, singer and actor Josh Groban will play the Beast alongside the musician HISwho will play Belle. Joshua Henry (tick, tick … BOOM!) was chosen to play Gaston, while EGOT winner Rita Moreno (History of the west side) will act as the narrator of the night.
Presented by The Wonderful World of Disney, the two-hour live-action / animated hybrid reimagining of the beloved story of The beauty and the Beast it will be recorded in front of a live audience at Disney Studios and airs December 15 on ABC and Disney + the next day.
