Despite the fact that the “Star Wars” universe continues to expand and tries to gradually leave the Skywalker saga behind, there are stories that deserve to be told. With this in mind comes “Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi”, an animated series from the creators of “Star Wars: The Clone Wars”. The project was announced several months ago, but little was known about what it consisted of. Only one image of Ahsoka Tano’s character was shown with her family when she was just a child.
This changed radically with the celebration of the D23 Expo. At the Lucasfilm panel, the studio finally explained that the series will be a 6-episode production. They will tell 2 stories never seen before on screen, but they will certainly be very special for fans. It deals with the lives of Ahsoka herself on the one hand and a young Dooku on the other.
To see exactly how the series will develop, Lucasfilm has also released the first trailer for “Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi” to the world. Presumably, during its 6 episodes the project will draw a parallel between the rise of Anakin Skywalker’s Padawan and the fall of Count Dooku to the dark side. For this, the six episodes will be divided into two parts, focusing 3 on the young Togruta and another 3 on the character played by Christopher Lee.

But evidently, the series won’t just bring both Force users back to the screen. Along with them will be an extensive roster of characters well known to fans of the saga. Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Master Yoda, Master Windu, Captain Rex … And also a mysterious and fearsome Inquisitor who wants to be the last great threat.
“Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi” will be released October 26 on Disney +.
