Lucasfilm has officially cast an actor to play the role of Ezra Bridger in the next film Star Wars series Ahsoka. The live-action version of the popular character from Star Wars: rebels will be played by Eman Esfandi. I’m not very familiar with the actor, but as you can see, he definitely fits the part!
Esfandi appeared in Roberto Rodriguez horror movie Red 11and had a small role in King Richard. It also appears in the next military drama The inspection.
The story follows Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) and Sabina (Natascia Liu Bordizzo) as they search for Grand Admiral Thrawn in the hope that he will lead them to find the lost Ezra Bridger, the young Jedi who disappeared with Thrawn many years ago.
Dave Filoni previously said of the series: “Ahsoka is a continuing story. She’s definitely driving towards a goal, in my mind, instead of being singular little adventures. That’s what I want the character to do, and I think that’s what the fans want now. . They have such a relationship with her. It was only recently that I began to realize that all those kids who have seen Clone Wars are now much older – they are very excited about all the things they grew up with, as they should be. “
