In the world of superheroes, there is a heated debate about who is the strongest character of all. And as new names keep coming up, as old ones rise to power, now fans have been arguing over whether “The Boys” Homelander can take on The Justice League.
Since “The Boys” premiered, Homelander has been compared to Superman, there are also those who believe that it is the most realistic version of the Kryptonian, if it really existed on Earth. And with the Amazon Prime Video series as a reference, there are those who believe that the power of Antony Starr’s character doesn’t come close to other competitors.
Now, thanks to some fanart from artist Shadow Knight on Twitter, fans debate whether Homelander might be against it ‘The Justice League’. In the illustration, Antony Star’s character can be seen holding Zachary Levi’s Shazam in his arms, as he subdues Superman, and other superheroes like Batman, Cyborg, Flash and Wonder Woman try to stop him.
The art quickly went viral on social media, dividing fans, including they think Homelander can’t defeat the entire Justice Leagueand those who believe the Amazon Prime Video series hasn’t done justice to what their true powers stand for.
Who could beat Homelander from “The Boys”?
It’s not the first time that fans have been debating a character’s power levels and before the picture the memes didn’t wait. The truth is that, although there is no point of comparison, it would be interesting to see a Homelander fight against other superheroes such as Superman, Goku, Saitama, among many others.
In the third season of “The Boys”, Homelander was able to demonstrate more of his fighting skills against Soldier Boy, Butcher and Hughie, that the latter two had taken a temporary Compound V. Patriot champion, they couldn’t stop him.
There is currently no release date for the fourth season of ‘The Boys’, but it should be in the next few weeks as it is now on recordings. Also, the story finally shows Homelander’s power level at its maximum power.
