The premiere on HBO Max / Doscovery +, took place in the midst of controversy after allegations of sexual abuse and cannibalism allegedly committed by the protagonist of ‘Call Me By Your Name’

It was the end of August when the trailer for this production was released and later the name of Armie Martello it has once again become the hub of the international media. The actor was embroiled in a massive scandal over the course of 2021, when conversations emerged in which not only was his sexual fetishism evident, but also that included apparent cannibalism practices, a fact that scandalized the world.

Right in the middle of the revelation of these conversations, Hammer was also highlighted by several women who accused him of sexual abuse.. The story was repeated in the testimony of many other women who confessed to having suffered the same from the Californian. Armie Hammer was even accused of rape by one of his alleged victims.

Although both Hammer and his legal representatives have denied most of the allegations, the reality is that he has since disappeared from Hollywood and, according to the American press, is currently selling luxury properties in the Cayman Islands.

Now, this docuseries also pillory the protagonist of the film ‘The Social Network’ with archive images, voice notes and exclusive interviews with two of his ex-girlfriends, Courtney Vucekovich and Julia Morrison, who ratify the accusations leveled against Hammer.

The Hammer family, of affluent origin linked to oil companies, will be questioned in its entirety with the controversial statements of the interpreter’s aunt, Casey Hammer, who also participates in this three-part documentary.

On the outside we were a perfect family, but we are a million times worse than that of the “Succession” series. (…) It was like doing business with the devil all the time, ”explains Casey Hammer during the“ House of Hammer ”trailer.

In fact, the actor’s aunt acknowledged him in an interview for The Daily Beast there is a whole history of abuse behind his family.

He doesn’t wake up one day and doesn’t turn into a monster. It’s learned behavior because it has already happened, ”Casey said, adding that she herself has been a victim of abuse within the family.

Elli Hakami and Julian P. Hobbs direct this docuseries previewed on Discovery + (HBO Max) and which, according to the description on its official website, intends to expose “deception, abuse, addiction and corruption” within five generations of men of the Hammer family.
