It’s always sunny in Philadelphia it’s one of those shows that never fails to make me laugh out loud. That show is so damn fun! Well, the cast and crew of the series made a hilarious joke Danny De Vito for April Fool’s Day, and the joke is as great as the comedy in the series.
That joke included a fake script that had been written and while reading, DeVoto was so alarmed by the subject that he thought about calling his lawyer. The author shared the details of that fake script in a recent interview with Uproxx:
“Then they threw me in jail, the big prison. I get raped by everyone and the police. And they kept coming back to the bar and then Frank was raped. And I went back to the bar, Frank was raped. And I said,” What fuck, man? Call my lawyer. “Right?”
DeVito ended up reading the script and when he got to the end there was a surprise waiting for him. He said:
“I got to the end of the script. And the last guy who nailed me came over. Well, Frank is lying on the ground now, [his] the face is on the ground. He’s been fucked by everyone … And the boy bends down and says, “April fool, bitch.” And I realized it was April 1st. They wrote this script to break my balls. “
DeVito ended up calling his co-stars and they all burst out laughing. I love that they took the time to write a full script as a joke for DeVito!
