Growing Saudi content company Arabia Pictures Group is joining forces with Greece-based audiovisual group Tanweer for a strategic partnership that will co-produce and distribute in all formats in the Middle East and North Africa.
They began their partnership by developing and producing a roster of three feature films to be shot in the MENA region and directed by Gentile talent.

Almadan founded the Saudi Pictures Group with Abdulla Al-Ahmari in 2018, after a 35-year film ban was lifted in Saudi Arabia.
Since then, the media and entertainment group has launched an ambitious expansion campaign in recent months to strengthen ties with a number of international partners.
The news of Tanweer’s partnership came after an announcement in August that India had formed an alliance with Eros Media World.
