Director Kevin Costner continues to fill the cast of his next western project Horizon. He just added Jena Malone, Michael Rooker, Alessandro EddaAnd Tatanka means to the film, which is also the protagonist Siena Miller, Sam Worthington, Jamie Campbell Bower, Luca Wilson And Thomas Haden Church.
Horizon tells “a multifaceted, 15-year span of expansion and settlement of the American West before and after the Civil War. Experienced through the eyes of many, the epic journey is fraught with peril and intrigue from the constant assault of natural elements to interactions with indigenous peoples who lived on earth and the determination and, at times, the ruthlessness of those who tried to establish it. . “
Costner previously talked about the story, saying, “It’s a really good story; it’s a difficult story. It really involves a lot of women, to be honest. There are a lot of men too, but women are really strong Horizon. It’s just them trying to get by every day in a world that was incredibly difficult. They often were [dragged] out in these places because that’s where the men wanted to go; women followed their men. They didn’t ask to be in these unstable and dangerous territories, and life wasn’t easy. I chose to make sure it was really obvious, that it wasn’t easy and how vulnerable people were. “
Costner will spend eight months in production and will shoot in Moab, Utah. As a longtime fan of Westerns and Costner, I’m pretty excited about this multi-film western epic that Costner is making.
