Ben Kingsley is destined to resume his role as Trevor Slattery in the upcoming Marvel Studios series Wonder Man, which was developed for Disney +. Kingsley made his big debut in the MCU Iron Man 3he then appeared in a Marvel short film Everyone salutes the kingand the last time we saw him in the role was Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings.
The series will focus on Marvel character Simon Williams, aka Wonder Man. In the comics, he is “the son of a wealthy industrialist whose company falls into hard times due to competition from Tony Stark’s Stark Industries. As a result, Williams accepts an offer from villain Baron Zemo which grants him ionic superpowers including super strength and durability. After battling the Avengers multiple times, Wonder Man has joined their ranks. “
Wonder Man was also an actor and stuntman in the comics, so it makes sense that Kingsley’s Slattery is involved as he’s also an actor.
Wonder Man is developed by Shan Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton as a manufacturer e Andrea Guest (Hawk eye) as lead writer and executive producer. Are you happy to hear that Kingsley will be returning as Trevor in the MCU?
