XYZ Films has acquired the rights to an English-language horror thriller titled Sound of silencewhich was directed by Alessandro Antonaci, Daniele LascarAnd Stefano Mandala. They are a trio of directors based in Italy known as T3.
Sound of silence is T3’s first feature film and the story follows Emma (Penelope Sangiorgi), “Who returns to his home in Italy to find out what happened to his parents, and must therefore unravel the mystery of an old radio that brings back the spirits of the past”.
Sounds like a funny ghost story! XYZ Films’ Alex Williams said in a statement, “XYZ is thrilled to come aboard this terrifying ghost story and continue our tradition of supporting international talent. We can’t wait to release SOUND OF SILENCE to audiences here in the US and around the world. Fans of haunted house movies like INSIDIOUS will love this movie. “
The studio has predicted that the film will be released in the home next spring.
