As I did in February, Netflix hits the table once again by announcing the release schedule for the rest of the year. Some release dates were already known (such as Rian Johnson’s expected “Daggers in the Back: The Mystery of the Glass Onion”, which will arrive on December 23, “Enola Holmes” on November 4 or “Blonde”, which will September 23), but Netflix has decided to date the rest of its most important releases, specifying in some cases the window of days that separates the release in theaters from the arrival on the platform.

Among the highlights there is The new film by Alejandro González Iñárritu. The director of ‘The Revenant’ will present his new film at the Venice Film Festival, ‘Bardo or the false chronicle of few truths’ (which remembers so much in the title ‘Birdman or (the unexpected virtue of ignorance)’), which will arrive on Netflix on December 16 after a first in theaters in Mexico on October 27 and another in American theaters. USA on November 4th. It will be one of the films on the platform with the longest time of exclusivity in theaters. For its part, the drama “The Good Nurse”, starring Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne and produced by Darren Aronofsky, will be released in theaters on October 19 and will arrive on the platform a week later, on September 26.
As for ‘White Noise’, the new Noah Baumbach (‘Wedding Stories’) with Adam Driver and Greta Gerwig, will also pass through Venice before its premiere: November 25 in theaters and December 30 on Netflix. It also highlights the return of Henry Selick, author of “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and “The Worlds of Coraline”, which premieres “Wendell and Wid” on October 21 in theaters and on the 28th of that month on the platform.
