Hulu has released a first promotional teaser for its next reimagining of Clive Barker’s 1987 horror classic Hellrasier. This short teaser offers a first look at the new Pinhead.
In Hellraiser“A young woman struggling with addiction comes into possession of an ancient puzzle box, unaware that her purpose is to summon the Cenobites, a group of sadistic supernatural beings from another dimension.”
The film comes from the director David Bruckner, screenwriters Ben Collins And Luca Piotrowskiwriter and producer David S. Goyerand manufacturer Keith Levine.
Goyer previously stated in a statement: “From the moment I first read ‘The Hellbound Heart’, Clive Barker has become one of my literary heroes. His work is transgressive and has completely redefined the horror genre. Below David Bruckner’s guide, we “go back to the source and take inspiration from that original novel.”
Barker added: “Having seen some of the projects from David Bruckner’s new Hellraiser movie, they pay homage to what the first movie created, but then take it to places they’ve never been before. This is a Hellraiser on a scale. which I simply didn’t do. “I don’t expect. David and his team are steeped in the mythology of the story, but what excites me is their desire to honor the original even as they revolutionize it for a new generation. ”
The ensemble cast includes Odessa A’zion (Fam, Great Army), Jamie Clayton (Sense8), Adam Faison (Everything will be OK), He drew Starkey (External Banks), Brandon Flynn (Ratched, 13 reasons why), Hinds Aoife (The long call, normal people), Jason Liles (Stereoscope, Rampage), Yinka Olorunnife (T.he Conveyor), Selina Lo (Boss level), Zechariah Hing (Alone), Clarke Kit (Leonardo), with Goran Visnjic (The boys) And Hiam Abbass (Succession, Blade Runner 2049).
Hellraiser will debut in the US exclusively on Hulu on October 7th.
