
JJ Abrams and his production company Bad Robot have developed a limited series for Apple TV + titled My glory was that I had such friends with Jennifer Garner. Well, Garner dropped the project due to scheduling conflicts, and the series, which has been in development for a long time, was scrapped.
The series is based on Amy SilversteinSilverstein’s memoir “shows the power of friendship and the resilience of the human spirit as he follows an extraordinary group of women who supported Silverstein as he awaited a second life-saving heart transplant.”
Garner is currently starring in another Apple TV + limited series titled The last thing he told me, which is an adaptation of Laura Daveis the best-selling novel and is produced by Reese WitherspoonHello Sunshine.
According to Deadline, Warner Bros. TV and Bad Robot are both still very interested in getting My glory was that I had such friends done, and they intend to look for another home for him. A team of writers has been working on additional scripts and the plan is to have more scripts ready to present to potential buyers when the project hits the market.
This is the second JJ Abrams project that Apple has canceled this year. The first project to be canceled was Demimondeand that project was scrapped because Abrams was asking for a $ 250 million budget.
