Entertainment film scooper Daniel Richtman aka @DanielRPK recently revealed Boba Fett’s book Season 2 is currently in development. Although the show wasn’t the best in live-action Star Wars series, fans tuned in to watch it, and it apparently had impressive viewership numbers.
It’s not really surprising that we’re getting a second season of the series. I just hope this next season is better than the first. The best episodes of the first season were the ones with the Mandalorian, and it was great to see a live-action version of Cad Bane. For the most part, though, the show was something of a mess. Hopefully, Roberto Rodriguez does not return to directing as he seems to have been the weak link in the creation of the series.
Even Star Wars News Net points this out Ming-Na Wenwho plays bounty hunter Fennec Shand, is looking forward to the second season. During a panel at Fan Expo Boston, she was asked what awaits her and this was her response:
“Second season of The Book of Boba Fett, I hope! … I never count my chickens before they hatch, because in this sector you never know. But, knock on the wood, they will announce it soon.”
There is a good chance that Boba Fett’s book Season 2 will be officially announced during the Lucasfilm panel at D23 Expo.
