Popular streaming platform HBO Max launched a new video with exclusive images of its upcoming releases this Sunday, August 21st. On the occasion of the long-awaited premiere of “La Casa del Dragone”, they showed a small preview of several productions, which will arrive, mostly, between the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023.
The highlight of the video is the last 25 seconds, in them HBO shows the first official preview of “The Last of Us”. The adaptation of the popular video game saga is with Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, who put themselves in the shoes of the famous post-apocalyptic survivors Joel and Ellie. The long-awaited series, directed and created by Craig Mazin with Neil Druckmann, it will not reach our screens until next January 1, 2023.
In these short preview images, we can see both characters walking across a snowy bridge, playing with a rearview mirror, or having a cold conversation where Ellie states: “Everyone I have loved has died or left me”. In turn, Ellie is greeted by Joel’s serious response: “You have no idea what the loss is”. Meanwhile, we can also see the first image of Nick Offerman as Billa character who maintains a difficult alliance with the two protagonists during the original video game.

More versions on the way
On the other hand, the rest of the video released by HBO also shows exclusive images of releases such as the new season of ‘Succession’, ‘Gossip Girl’ or ‘Titans’, among many others. At the same time, we can also see small previews of new productions such as “The Idol”, “The White House Plumbers” and “Love & Death”.
