Emily Browning remains blocked in a romantic comedy in temporal loop in the trailer of One More Shot

Staming Stan service shared the trailer of the bizarre romantic comedy Another shotA story that bends the time set at the dawn of the new millennium.

Hero Emily BrowningThe film catapults the audience into a chaotic New Year party of 1999, where Tequila turns into a time machine. Browning plays Minnie, who arrives at a meeting in a beach house hoping to rekindle things with his ex, Joe, just to find out that he has already brought a new girl.

That crack does not last long because when Minnie drinks a glass, he suddenly finds himself at the beginning of the night. With a bottle full of magic shots of Tequila, it has multiple possibilities to change the result, but each reset sends the night in an even more out of control spiral.

The official synopsis anticipates: “On the eve of New Year’s Eve, in 1999, with the anxieties of 2000 in the air and ‘Coco Jamboo’ on the radio, the anesthesiologist Minnie (Browning) seizes the opportunity to participate in a party with his ex Joe – from which he has not yet managed to overcome.

“But everything goes wrong when he realizes that he is there with a new girlfriend. A sip with a bottle of Tequila after midnight and, in the blink of an eye, Minnie travels back in time until the start of the party – a process that, discovers, repeats with every drink that drinks.

“Each rethinking represents a new opportunity to correct her mistakes or further aggravate them. But will any of these allow you to regain Joe’s heart, or to understand what it means to live with the consequences of his actions?”

In addition to Browning, the cast includes Aisha Dee, Sean Keenan, Hamish Michael, Ashley ZokermannAND Pallavi Sharda.

Another shot marks the debut in the director’s feature film Nicola CliffordBetter known for the TV series Monologue and several acclaimed short films. The script comes from Alice Foulcher AND Gregorio Erdsteinbased on a story of Heather Wilson.

This time cycle fueled by Tequila looks like a mix of Marmot day Chaos and nostalgia of the year 2000, with a lot of embarrassing romanticism and questionable decisions along the way. Another shot Streaming on Stan in Australia will begin from 12 October 2025. A date of release in the United States is not yet known.
