HBO Max has released the first footage of its adaptation of the upcoming series of The Last of Us in a new promotional teaser. The characteristics of the movie Pedro Pasquale (The Mandalorian) like Joel, and Beautiful Ramsey (game of Thrones) as Ellie and find themselves on a harrowing journey.
The last of us takes place 20 years after modern civilization was destroyed by a deadly virus. Joel (Pascal), a hardened survivor, is hired to take Ellie (Ramsey), a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone at Fireflies, a treatment-seeking organization. What starts out as a small job soon becomes a brutal and heartbreaking journey, as they both have to traverse the United States and depend on each other for survival.
The series is also the protagonist Gabriele Luna, Anna Torv, Merle Dandrige, Nick Offerman, Storm Reid, Nico Parker, Gabriele Luna, Jeffrey PierceAnd Murray Bartlett.
moon plays Tommy, Joel’s younger brother, “a former soldier who hasn’t lost a sense of idealism and hope for a better world”. Dandridge will take on the role of Marlene in the series, the leader of the Fireflies, “a resistance movement fighting for freedom against an oppressive military regime”. Offerman will take on the role of Bill’s character and will act alongside Murray Bartlett as Frank, two pandemic survivors living alone in their own isolated town.
The last of us will be out in early 2023. I can’t wait to see this series and can’t wait to see more.
