A new trailer for the Peacock series has been released Vampire Academybased on the YA novels by Richelle Mead. The fantasy series of Julie Plec (the Vampire Diaries) And Marguerite MacIntyre (The originals) tells a story of romance and adventure and sees the friendship between two young women: “Rose Hathaway (Sisi Stringer), a vampire-human hybrid, and Lissa Dragomir (Daniela Nieves), a Royal Moroi vampire, tested as the pair prepare to enter vampire society, one as a powerful royal and the other as a sworn protector.
Along with Stringer and Nieves, the series also stars Kieron Moore, Andre Dae Kim, J. August Richards, Anita-Joy Uwajeh, My McKenna-Bruce, Rhian Blundell, Jonetta KaiserAnd Andrea Liner.
It looks super mushy, but I’ve read the Dusk series and was happy to watch those tacky movies because it was fun to see the story unfold on screen. So, if this is purely a tribute to the fans, then it looks like it will be worth it. Check out the trailer below, and if you like what you see, check it out Vampire Academy on Peacock starting September 15.
