Ben Reilly’s first look filtered, the new variant of ‘Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse’

Although the release date for the first part of “Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse” has been postponed until 2023, the sequel to the acclaimed Sony film has thrilled fans to know what will happen next. Now, the first look at the new variant that will appear on the tape, Ben Reilly, has leaked.

In the first preview of ‘Spiderman: Through the Spider-Verse’, It has been revealed that Oscar Isaac will give birth to Miguel O’Haraor better known as Spider-Man 2099. However, during CinemaCon 2022, it was confirmed that the sequel to “Into the Spider-Verse” will feature nearly 250 characters in the storyline.

Twitter user @ haileestan2007 (via The Direct) shared the Scarlet Spider first look ‘Spiderman: Through the Spider-Verse’, which comes from Sony’s official merchandise. This is the Trouble game, themed with the images of the ribbon, in which you can see Ben Reilly, a new variant of the arachnid.

In Sony’s animated sequel, Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy will star alongside Ben Reilly, better known as Spider Scarlett in the comics, and who is one of Peter Parker’s clones from another universe. Unlike its counterparts, this variant has a red suit with menacing white eyes and a blue sweater.

Who is Marvel’s Scarlet Spider-Man?

Benjamin “Ben” Reilly, or also known as Scarlet Spidey, Scarlet Spider or Spider Carnage, is a clone of Peter Parker and belonging to Marvel Comics’ Earth 616. His first appearance was in Amazing Spider-Man # 149 and was created by Gerry Conway and Ross Andru.

Currently the Scarlet Spider comic series is still in publication, but at the moment it is unknown who will be the actor in charge of voicing Ben Reilly in ‘Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse’ in its first part, which will see the return of Shameik. Moore, Hailee Steinfield, among others.

So far, “Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse” keeps its premiere for June 2, 2023 and promises to be one of the big surprises of the following year, as well as the first part. Sony is expected to reveal more official information on its tape in the coming days.
