Disney + Hawk eye series directors Bert and Bertie have signed with Disney again to direct a film based on the classic Disney Parks attraction Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Kieran And Michele Mulroney (Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows) are writing the script.
A mining wagon ride set in a mining town where gold is discovered, the original Big Thunder Mountain opened in 1979 at Disneyland in Anaheim, with another version opening soon after at Orlando’s Magic Kingdom . It is one of the most recognizable coasters in all Disney parks, also appearing in Tokyo and Paris locations.
Plot details are unknown right now, but it’s funny that Disney attraction films are expanding into new rides. Because there is no specific movie or tradition behind the creation of Great Thunder Mountainthe upcoming movie is open to tell a brand new story and I hope it’s fun and exciting!
Meanwhile, The haunted palace is getting another reboot with Owen Wilson as the lead.
