Stephen King1996 western horror thriller novel The regulators it was optioned by Bohemia Group and they will adapt it into a feature film. They hired Giorgio Cowan to bring it to the big screen and King approved the script and says:
“I am delighted that the excitement of The regulators is coming to the screen. This will be fine ”.
The regulators tells the story of the “peaceful suburban life of Poplar Street in Wentworth, Ohio, which one day shatters when four vans containing rifle-armed ‘regulators’ terrorize the street residents, killing in cold blood anyone foolish enough to venture outside. ‘open. The houses mysteriously transform into log cabins and the road now ends in what looks like a western landscape drawn by a child’s hand. The creation of this sudden assault is an evil creature who has taken over the body of an autistic boy whose parents were killed in a shooting several months earlier.
This is a fascinating story of King. It has been a long time since I read the book. I don’t remember the details of the story, but I remember I liked it!
