One of most popular psychological horror movies is ‘Get Out’, also known in Spanish as ‘Huye!’, a film directed by Jordan Peele and starring Daniel Kaluuya. The horror film managed to shiver and not necessarily because it has screams or genre-like scenes that make you scream, but because the very nature of the story is what generates the impact along with the treatment of its story.

The story of ‘Get Out’, which is on Star +, tells of what Chris (Daniel Kaluuya) is like, a young man who goes to visit his in-laws’ home. The dynamic of this relationship goes from being characterized by the nervousness of the situation to becoming a terrifying scenario when he realizes that the only blacks, like him, behave extremely strangely while surrounded by a community of whites.

Another of the streaming psychological horror films is “Relic: Cursed Inheritance”; Natalie Erika James’ YouTube movie brings an emotional yet raw family story centered on women to the screen with Bella Heathcote, Emily Mortimer and Robyn Nevin.

The intense story told in ‘Relic: Inheritance Cursed’ tells the terrible scenario in which three women find themselves: a grandmother, a daughter and a granddaughter, three generations facing the horror of the family’s past and at the same time the fear generated from untreated mental illnesses which, without knowing it, can turn into chilling hallucinations.
