A remake of the 1986 classic mountaineer the film has been in the works for some time and we have a small update of the director attached, John Wick helmsman, Chad Stahelski. The project is destined to become the protagonist Man of Steel And The sorcerer actor Henry Cavilland the script was written by Ryan J. Condal (Colony, House of the Dragon) And Kerry Williamsonwhich is creating the forthcoming Battlestar Galactica remake of the series.
Stahelski has had a lot on his plate lately, with the expected John Wick upcoming sequel, as well as his movie Tsushima ghost, and some other projects. But while discussing the fellow stuntman JJ PerryThe directorial debut of Day shiftalso produced by Stahelski, the director talked a bit about where they are in the pre-production process with the mountaineer movie, saying:
We are in the process of retouching right now. I think we know what we want. Above all, we know what we want to do. It is in the creativity. We know what we are trying to do. It’s just a matter of getting to the point where we feel, “Okay, that’s it. Let’s go.” But we’re closer than we’ve ever been, so that’s okay.
