Image Comics shared a first preview of the upcoming graphic novel Club Dinner from Jackie tomorrow. This story of coming of age as young adults follows high schoolers Nora, Lil and Iris as they try to get through conflicting schedules to maintain their friendship. Their solution? Create a secret cooking club where they can hang out without sacrificing their future aspirations while sharing recipes and eating their creations. But when every girl’s life begins to crumble under their feet, will the Supper Club survive or will they disperse forever? It sounds like a great story that many people can relate to even if you are no longer in high school. Just try not to read it while hungry because this preview alone really made me want to eat a nice piece of cake.
